If you pay for something, make sure that there is a money back guarantee that you can use if you are not satisfied with the product. Unlike a “regular” job, there is no guarantee that you would make a specific amount of income every month. You could also end up making no money whatsoever during certain periods. You should prepare yourself for these circumstances and always have a backup plan should something go wrong with your current business model. For example, if you are reselling goods on eBay, your main supplier could go out of business and leave you nothing to sell. If you had maintained adequate inventory in stock at all times, or several backup suppliers for your merchandise, this wouldn’t affect you as much.
