Building Multiple Streams of Income

If you want to make more money online, there are a few ways that you can make this happen. While the specific details will vary according to what kind of online business you are in at the moment, there is some good advice that you can use no matter what you are doing at the moment and what you would like to do in the future.

One of the important things is to: Work on building multiple streams of income, but do it well

We all hear that earning money online successfully involves having multiple streams of income. This is a common topic that comes back in nearly every “Make Money Online” ebook being sold. And this is not just another marketing gimmick to get authors to sell more products. The reason why so many give this advice is because it works, period.

This is even true in the “offline” world. If you ask a person who is very successful financially and has a net worth of several million about how they make their money, they will probably tell you that they run several businesses at the same time. They may own a restaurant franchise, an apartment building, a car wash, a gas station, etc. All of these businesses bring them money.

This gives them the opportunity to not only make more money, but to ensure that they would keep making money should conditions change and one of their businesses wouldn’t be as profitable anymore.

The same is true online. It is better to have 4 websites in different niches making $25 a day than just one website making $100 a day. However, some people don’t approach this concept the right way. They see “multiple streams of income” and believe that it means “do everything at once”. Obviously, this is not a winning strategy, because it would probably degenerate into “do everything at once but do nothing well enough”.

A better strategy for success would be building each site or business one at a time. Focus your efforts on only one or two things at the same time, maximum. Then, when this business starts rolling well and brings you revenue like you want it, you can then start thinking about whether you’re ready to build something else that would work too.

After some time, you would be able to get multiple streams of income coming in from different websites, businesses, products, etc. that you own. This is one of the principal elements of successful online money making.

There are other tips that you can apply in the online business world that will help you earn the revenue that you’ve always wanted from your activities. Tomorrow we will consider some other pieces of advice that you can use to do just that.

Creating Your Info Product: The Content – Part 1

Creating Your Info Product: The Content – Part 1

If you decide to create the content of your info product by yourself, in that case you have quite a bit of work to do. However, just like any other online business project, it can be done if you apply the right methods, knowledge and effort into it. For many people, the creation of the product itself can even be a very enjoyable experience. Before we get started on how to put the product together, there are a few general tips that you need to be aware of, which will help make sure that your product will be well received by its targeted audience, meaning your buyers:

  • Offer something useful and really informative – solve your readers problems and answer their questions

One of the common complaints about information products, especially those in the online marketing niche, is that they don’t offer any real and usable information to the buyer. Think of it this way, a guide on earning money online that simply tells the reader to put up a website, sign up for Adsense or a CPA network and then “somehow” get some traffic to it would be quite useless, as it doesn’t actually give any details or methods on how they can accomplish that.

  • Don’t just rewrite free information that can be found online

This is another complaint that people make about info products that they’ve bought. There is a lot of free information available online to people who are looking for answers to their questions about any given topic. Is your product actually going to give more than that? This is where you get the occasion to really make your product shine. Add some unique methods and strategies that you’ve thought up of and that you’ve tried. Use your experience and knowledge in your niche to share some personal advice with your readers about how you’ve solved the problem that they’ve been having and how you’ve accomplished what they’re trying to do. While some things, such as SEO methods for example, are commonly discussed at length online, this doesn’t mean you just need to rewrite existing information about them. Give something better to your buyers and they will definitely appreciate it.

  • Quality matters more than quantity

When creating a product that is supposed to be informational, you’re not writing a novel or creating the next big movie. You want the information transmitted to your readers to be concise and educate them on your niche. Nobody wants to read an e-book or watch a video course where half of the content is about the author boasting about his accomplishments or telling his life story to the buyer. This doesn’t help the buyer in any way. Essentially, you will want to give your buyers the necessary bits of background information about how some of the concepts work, then give them the actual methods on how they can actually make things work for themselves. Don’t say things simply for the sake of taking up space.

Part Time Online Business: Some Ideas

Part Time Online Business: Some Ideas

If you want to start an online business and make a relatively decent amount of cash, without spending thousands of dollars or working full time on it, there are some ways to accomplish that. While there are many ways of earning money online, here are some examples of methods that have been shown to be profitable for many online entrepreneurs. These can be used to build a part time online business, however there is nothing that is really stopping you from turning these ideas into a full time online business if this is what you wish to do.

  • Providing services

We have seen this in the micro online business article, and it really is the same concept. You provide services that are useful for business owners and online marketers and you get paid for it. Popular examples include: article writing, backlink creation, web design, ebook writing, etc.

The main difference is that you will be spending more time doing the work, around 20 to 30 hours per week should give you a very good part time income.

  • Outsourced service creation

Same thing, but with a bit of a change. While you can do some of the work, you will be outsourcing most of it to other people for less than what the client is paying you and you will pocket the difference. So let’s say that someone pays you $12 to create a 1000 word article for them. You find a worker that can create quality articles on a forum or freelancing site and pay them let’s say $8 for it. You will then keep the $4 difference as profit. While this seems insignificant, if you get orders for 10 articles a day at $4 of profit, that’s $40 per day, and you didn’t do much work besides co-ordinating the work between what the client orders and what the outsourcer produces.

  • Light Ebay selling

Ebay is the most popular online marketplace in the world, where some sellers have made millions by selling various kinds of merchandise to consumers. Of course, it’s not easy to earn 7 figures from the site, but it is well possible to make a few dozen dollars per day from it with a bit of effort and investment.

Selling on Ebay is the electronic equivalent of you having a stand at a flea market. You buy goods from a distributor at a low price and then re-sell them at a profit to the end consumer. All you are doing is applying the concept of buy low/sell high, which has existed for thousands of years.

So, for example, you would buy 10 cell phones at $300 each from a distributor that sells wholesale goods. You then resell them on Ebay for $400 and you keep the difference minus Ebay and PayPal fees. Basically, to be successful, all you would need to do is to find goods that are easy to acquire, in demand and easy to sell at a profit.
