Tips for Running CPA Offers on Craigslist: Part 3

Tips for Running CPA Offers on Craigslist: Part 3

Previously we’ve seen some ways to get your ads on classified ad sites to stay there and also to make a maximum amount of money while minimizing problems. Here are some final tips on how you can run successful affiliate campaigns by using classified ad sites:

  • Look at the other ads

When you want to put ads on Craigslist or any other classified ads site, the first thing that you would need to do is to take a look for yourself about how all the other ads in the section look like. Look at the titles, the formatting as well as the wording used in the ads. Do people post pictures? Do they post contact information in the ad? What words or expressions are used more often? These are all things that will help your ad look normal and make it less likely to be flagged or reported as spam. Also, you should obviously avoid making any outrageous claims in your ad to draw attention to it such as “Get a free house!” or things like that. If you do, it would probably be flagged as spam very quickly.

  • Use a local IP

Classified ads sites such as Craiglist and Backpage are mainly designed for local people to post local offers. So if you post an ad in a city that is not yours, you will need to use an IP address that is located in the area that you are targeting. You might not need this for all the classified ads sites, however Craigslist is known to be very strict regarding this and your ads in many categories will not appear if the IP address that you are posting from is not local to the area. To solve this problem, there are various workarounds. You could use a proxy, or a VPN service that will give you an IP address in the area where you are intending to post your ad.

  • Don’t mislead people or make false promises

Selling something from a CPA offer is one thing. However, deliberately misleading people by making false promises is another. Examples of this would include: promising someone a job if they fill out a survey, telling someone they are approved for a mortgage if they get a free credit report from your offer, etc. With some creativity, there are quite a few ways that you can promote CPA offers on classified ads sites without promising people things that don’t exist.

  • Check the rules for the offer you are promoting

Many affiliate networks recognize that classified ads sites are an important source of traffic and are used by thousands of marketers. However, some may have specific rules as to what kind of ads can be posted, as well as the sites they can be posted on. On some offers, classified ad traffic may be banned altogether, while on some you are not allowed to direct link to the offer itself. In any case, make sure you check the terms of every offer you want to promote before starting a campaign.

Some More Monetization Options For Your Blog

Some More Monetization Options For Your Blog

If you are creating a blog, there are various ways that you can monetize it, which simply means to make money from it. Yesterday, we have seen the two easiest and most common ways of making some profit from your blog, which are inserting pay per click ads on it, as well as putting up a donation button. But there are two other options worth mentioning. While they may be a bit more complex, they are still being used by plenty of bloggers out there and can be extremely profitable.

The basic concept behind affiliate marketing is that you get paid a certain commission when someone clicks on an ad on your blog and either buys something, or performs a specific action such as signing up for a website. Unlike pay per click ads, you do not get paid for every click that the ad receives from a visitor.

When it comes to affiliate offers, in order to get the most success, you should use offers that are closely related to the theme of your blog. So if your blog talks about cars, for example, you could put ads for car insurance companies, which typically pay you whenever someone requests a quote from the insurance company. You can also participate in the Amazon Affiliate Program. Amazon.com is one of the world’s most popular online retailers and they sell hundreds of thousands of items in different categories. So if your blog talks about photography, you can put up some ads for photo cameras from Amazon. If someone clicks on the ad and makes a purchase, you will receive a commission based on the amount of the total sale. Remember that in order to make the highest amount of money possible, the affiliate offers that you promote on your blog should be related to its content.

The more “generic” ads such as the “shoot 3 ducks and get a free iPhone!!” banners are best avoided, since many of your readers have probably already seen them and will simply ignore them. While you can put some affiliate offers that aren’t really related to the niche of your blog, doing so is not recommended since your readers are far less likely to even click on these ads in the first place.

  • Selling your own products

This can be a good monetization option if you produce your own products, or you simply own an e-commerce site that sells certain items that could be of interest to your readers. For example, if you have a blog about technology and at the same time, you sell video game consoles and computers on eBay, you can put an ad for your eBay page inviting users to visit your online shop. To make it even more attractive for them, you could even offer a special discount code for readers of your blog. This can be a very profitable monetization choice, but of course you would need to be already involved in some form of e-commerce for you to make use of it.

Monetization Options For Your Blog

If you are thinking of putting up a blog on the internet, one of the main things that you would be thinking of would be how to make some money from it. Perhaps you may have heard about some bloggers earning good money from their blog and were wondering whether it would be possible for you to do the same. Well, the answer is yes, but just like with anything else related to earning money online, you will need to put a lot of effort into it to make it work. Here let’s explore some of the easiest methods of monetizing your blog first:

  • AdSense and other pay per click ads

This is considered by many bloggers to be one of the easiest ways to monetize a blog. It is also the most simple and straightforward. Essentially, you would be putting pay per click ads on your blog and will be receiving a certain sum of money whenever someone will click on one of the ads. These could be text ads, or banner ads. These days, advertisement distribution networks will automatically cause ads that are related to the topic of your blog to be displayed, so they will be more relevant and thus more likely to be click on by viewers. For example, if you have a blog that talks about politics, the ads that are displayed are likely to be more or less related to this topic, such as political polls, websites for candidates or political parties, etc.

While Google AdSense is the most popular of pay per click advertisement networks among bloggers, there are several other smaller ad networks out there such as AdBrite and Bidvertiser. The amount of money that you will make from having these ads on your blog will ultimately depend on how many visitors click on them. So the more traffic your blog gets, the higher the amount of revenue that you can generate from pay per click advertisements on it will be. This creates a good incentive for you to promote your blog well and to have regular interesting updates on it.

  • Putting up a “donate” button on your blog

This is quite straightforward. You can put a PayPal (or Moneybookers, or AlertPay, or any other payment system) button on your blog that will be there to let users donate a bit of money to support your blogging efforts. If the content of your blog is very interesting and it is read by a lot of people, you can make some money just by donations from readers. However, don’t expect to make thousands a month, unless you have a REALLY high traffic blog. Sure, it’s possible that a billionaire will stop by your blog, really like it and then decide to make a six figure donation. This has happened. But the odds of that happening to you are roughly equivalent to the odds of winning the lottery. Still you will probably make a few bucks, enough to cover your hosting fees and maybe pay for your internet connection.

Full Time Online Business: Part 1

Full Time Online Business: Part 1

When you are building an online business that will generate a full time income, there are various things that you can do to earn some money. These things are not necessarily complicated to execute, but they will nonetheless require some more patience on your part to do properly and to yield the results that you wanted them to have.

So, what are some good ideas to earn full time cash on the internet? We will present them to you, but let’s start with the most simple ones.

Actually, what you can very well do is to take the things that you can do as part of a micro or mini online business and simply scale them up so that they can produce more revenue for you. Let’s take providing services for example:

There are plenty of people who do things such as writing articles and designing graphics to earn a bit of extra cash online. But it is possible to turn these activities to a full time business as well. There are two things that you will need to make this work:

  • Skill

The amount of money that clients will be willing to pay you will largely depend on how good you are at doing your job. For example, if you are an average article writer, you could find people willing to pay you $5 for a 500 word web article. But if you can truly write professional quality articles that are very informative to the users, you could find that some people are willing to pay anywhere from $20 to $50 for a simple 500 word piece to be posted on the web. Obviously you will need to work very hard to build up your skills to that level, but many have done it.

  • Time

Another thing that you would need to do would be to devote sufficient time to your online activities if you want them to make enough money for you. Consider this, if you write articles at $15 per article and you write 2 in one hour, this gives you a very respectable $30 per hour. Now if you work full time 5 days a week, you can make almost $40 000 a year by doing this.

If you go with the services route, then you should know that finding high paying clients will be much harder than finding some that would pay you a fraction of what you want to earn. Therefore, you will need to spend more time networking and looking for work to do than if you simply wanted to make a bit of extra cash at the end of the month.

But what if you do not want to do all the work yourself? There are a few things that you can do and tomorrow, we will take a look at some simple business models that you can take advantage of and get off the ground rather quickly.

Money Making Ideas : Micro Online Business

Money Making Ideas : Micro Online Business

We have previously seen that there are many different categories of online business objectives. The main difference between them is the amount of money that could be made, as well as the amount of commitment (time and money) that the online entrepreneur will need to make.

Let’s first take a look at the micro online business model. Basically here, you will be making up to $500 a month and putting in 10 to 20 hours a week maximum, with little or no investment on your part.

This business model is basically service based. This essentially means that you will be offering some services to other webmasters, online entrepreneurs as well as business owners. What are some examples of services that you can offer, which will not demand too much time or effort from you? Here is a short list:

  • Article writing
  • Translation
  • Video transcription
  • Graphic design
  • Very basic web design
  • Writing reviews
  • Creating backlinks
  • Doing short online videos
  • etc…

Of course, this is not a complete list, there are many more services that you could offer, based on your skills and the demand that is on the market right now.

The main question is: where do you go to find projects that you can do? The top places are freelancing sites, where people from everywhere gather together to offer or request services. The most useful sites for easy tasks are:

Microworkers – www.microworkers.com

Amazon Mechanical Turk – www.mturk.com

Fiverr – www.fiverr.com

Internet marketing forums also have a section for freelance work. Here are some of the best ones:

Warrior Forum www.warriorforum.com

Digital Point www.digitalpoint.com

Black Hat World www.blackhatworld.com

However, do take note that if you want to find work on forums, you should first spend a few days making USEFUL posts to build up your reputation and get your name seen by the other members.

In these sites, you will find tens of thousands of different tasks that you can do. The pay isn’t especially great, however, if you work in an efficient way without distractions, you can make something approaching $10 to $15 an hour. The tasks could sometimes be quite repetitive and tedious, which is why most people do not spend more than one or two hours working on them per day. But still, you can make a few hundred dollars a month from these sites.

Always strive to do quality work, follow instructions accurately and complete the projects on time. Not only will this help boost your feedback on the sites, but will also allow you to make some useful contacts and potentially earn you some regular projects to do.

Here’s a tip: working with the same people on a regular basis is much better and will make the time you spend online much more productive and efficient. The reason: you will be spending a lot less time hunting for tasks to do and projects you can participate in and much more time actually doing work that will be profitable for you.

Some Questions and Answers about Online Marketing

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Some Questions and Answers about Online Marketing

There are many people who are new to internet marketing and the whole “make money online” scene and who naturally, have many questions about online earning opportunities. Here are some answers to questions that are frequently asked by newcomers.

  • How do I earn money online?

There are plenty of opportunities, which are quite varied. The most common earning opportunities found online are:

  • Becoming an affiliate of another merchant and getting a commission on sales that you get for them.
  • Creating a web site, then selling ad space and getting paid for each click on the ads, for the number of views they get, or a fixed amount per day, week or month.
  • Creating your own (digital or physical) product and selling it to customers.
  • Reselling someone else’s product through your website or a marketplace like eBay or Amazon (buy low/sell high concept, similar to what a physical retail store does).
  • Providing services to others (writing, web design, graphic design, translation, etc).
  • How much money will I make? Are these ads that say I can make $1000 a day online true?

The amount of money you will earn will depend on what you do specifically. The earning potential is technically unlimited, but it will take a lot of work and dedication to reach good results. While some people can make $1000 a day, it will take much more than simply buying a product or signing up for some course to do the trick.

  • Are all of these guides/courses/ebooks/membership sites about making money scams?

Some of them are, but the majority can’t really be considered a scam. Rather, they do give you some ideas and information that you can put to good use and start an online business of your choice. However, most of them stop short of holding your hand to the point of telling you exactly what to sell, exactly how to word your ads, etc. This is something you will need to figure out on your own.

  • Do I need any startup money? Can I get started with nothing?

This depends on what you are trying to do to earn money. Some forms of online business can be started with absolutely $0, some others will require a small investment of $10 – $20 for a website and domain name, while others will need you to pay a few hundred or a few thousand for things like advertising, merchandise to re-sell, etc.

  • Where are the best places to find information on earning money online?

If you do a Google, search, you will find that there are quite a few websites or blogs that provide useful information, but make sure that they are not simply a “front” that is trying to sell you some guide or get you to join a membership site. The best sources of free information remain internet marketing forums such as Digital Point, Warrior Forum and Wicked Fire.

Why Many Internet Marketers Give Up

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Why Many Internet Marketers Give Up

If you look at information on internet marketing, you will find plenty of success stories coming from people who have “made it” in this industry and who have made very good amount of money in online business. But what about those who haven’t? Let’s take a closer look at what causes many online marketers to simply give up rather than want to do everything they can to make their business succeed.

  • They Set Their Income Expectations To An Unrealistic Amount

Advertisements for IM products are partly to blame for this one. They show money falling out of the sky, flashy cars, big houses, etc. All of that, with promises that you can make thousands of dollars every single day. While these amounts are achievable, after all, some people have made millions on the internet, they are not what you will be earning when you start. Every business starts out small and brings in a modest amount of profit at the beginning and the online business world is no different.

  • They Thought Everything Was So Easy

Again, ads for products that teach IM methods are partly to blame for this. They use language like “all you have to do is put up a few ads on Google each day and you might make thousands!!” Well, this is technically true. You CAN make thousands by putting up a few ads on Google. But then again, you need to know which products to promote, what to write in the ads, what keywords to select, etc. And this requires work and dedication. When some people realize that actual work will be required, they seem to back out of the deal rather quickly, instead of actually giving it a shot to see what works and what doesn’t.

  • They Thought That You Would Never Have To Invest Any Money In Their Business

Some people come to internet marketing thinking that since this is the “virtual world” starting a business that will bring them hundreds of thousands a year in “real” money will not require them to spend anything. When they realize that they will need to spend a few dollars on domains, hosting, advertising, tools, etc. they once again run away thinking that this must be some kind of scam or conspiracy to get them to lose money. The funny thing is when you consider that those people are not unable to get the cash necessary to start their business. They are rather unwilling to invest in it. And if you look even closer, very often you will find that the people who complain about having to pay $10 for a domain would not think twice about spending $2000 on a vacation trip, or would run to the mall to buy a $300 pair of shoes that they would wear a few times only. While there are ways to cut down on your initial expenses, if you want your business to grow then you MUST invest some money in it at some point.

Getting Started In Online Writing – Part 1

Getting Started In Online Writing – Part 1

If you think you have what it takes to become an online freelance writer and want to get started, then read on. I will give you some advice on how to get started and to build up your income over time.

The first thing that you need to take into consideration when you get started is the amount of money that you will make. There are a few products out there which claim that you can make $150 – $300 or more each day by writing online. This claim is similar to those of websites that claim you can make $500 a day pushing affiliate products on Google Adwords. It is not a lie: yes, you CAN make these amounts. And yes, some people do make several hundreds of dollars each day writing online. However, it would be VERY rare for you to make such amounts from the beginning, unless you already have significant experience in writing (say in journalism or magazines) and have contacts that can get you high paying jobs. So don’t quit your day job just yet.

Much like in many “creative” industries such as cinema and graphic design, those who start out usually get the lower paying jobs. But how do you get some jobs to start your career?

Well, you basically have four choices where to look for work: online writing sites, internet marketing forums, freelancing sites and other sources such as classified ads. Each of them have some unique advantages and drawbacks. Let’s have a look:

Online writing sites.

These are places such as Textbroker, Helium and Constant Content. The way they operate is relatively simple: some allow you to accept orders from customers and start writing, while on others you will write articles about certain topics and wait until a client purchases them. Depending on the site that you work with, you may be required to either submit samples of your previous work or pass a writing test.

Advantages:

  • Many of these sites offer a lot of work and writing on various niches.
  • In most cases you will be sure that you will be paid as long as the work is done correctly.
  • May allow you to get repeat orders from the same client.
  • The pay per article is relatively decent when compared to other places to get work. However, bear in mind that this means you must submit articles which are always of the best quality.

Disadvantages:

  • Payment is usually not immediate. Certain sites pay you every two weeks, some once a month.
  • Could be difficult to get accepted if you do not have previous writing experience, as some places ask you to submit a CV along with a portfolio of your previous work.

Check back tomorrow for more information on where you can find online article writing work, as well as some advice on how you can maximize the amount of your earnings in a short amount of time.

Another Easy Way To Make Money With CPA Offers – The Poll Method

Another Easy Way To Make Money With CPA Offers – The Poll Method

Ever wondered if there was an easy way to make money with CPA email submit offers? Don’t worry, there are some ways that you can make a decent amount of money promoting these types of offers. At first, it may seem quite difficult to earn some cash from an offer that pays $1 to $2 per lead. The key here is to get traffic to the offer which is inexpensive and converts well enough for you to make a decent amount of cash. This is possible to do by making use of pay per click advertising services such as Google Adwords.

Now normally, running these offers and sending traffic straight to the merchant would not be so profitable. You will face rather stiff competition and the price per click would almost guarantee that you lose money. But there is a way to change all of that. It’s called the “poll” method.

The first thing you need to do is to find a topic that is hot in searches and is trending right now. Issues that are in the news right now are very good choices. Google has a service called Google Trends (trends.google.com), which allows you to see the current hot searches. You would then pick some topics and run their related keywords through the Google Adwords keywords tool. This will allow you to find the one with the least expensive keywords.

Now here’s the main part of the method. In order to promote the offer, we will create a poll. That’s right, a one question survey. For example, if there is an election going on in the United States, the poll could simply be something like “Who will become the next president? Candidate A or Candidate B? Vote now to get a [Insert freebie promoted in email submit offer]” Once the user votes, they are told to enter their email on the next page and redirected to the email submit offer.

Now, how do you design the poll page? You have two options. Either you can get a poll script that is made for this purpose. There are plenty which are floating around for download in some internet marketing forums. They are relatively easy to install if you have some experience with running scripts on your web server.

If not, then simply design a page with the options and two radio buttons (the round options that let the user make a selection) which actually do nothing and a “click here to vote” button which goes to the next page telling the user to enter his email on the offer page, and then automatically redirects him to that offer. There’s nothing really wrong about that, since, after all, you’re not here to collect statistics, but to make money from the email submits. Technically, the poll is only used to draw the user’s attention and nothing more.

Services Arbitrage – Another Great Way To Earn

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Services Arbitrage – Another Great Way To Earn

Many of you are wondering if there is a quick and easy way to earn some cash online that doesn’t require much technical skills and lets you get paid very rapidly. If this interests you, keep reading. Sure, working with affiliate networks and CPA offers can be very rewarding. Some may even say that this is what internet marketing is “truly about”. But there are some other ways to make some cash online.

You probably know that you can freelance and offer some services to webmasters and fellow marketers. These include things such as logo design, article marketing, web design, etc. Now this is all fine. But there are a few drawbacks. First, these take time to do. Second, you would need to actually have the skills required to complete the client’s project.

But in comes the concept of arbitrage. It is a concept that has existed since antiquity and simply means profiting form price differences between two markets. Basically: buy low, sell high. You get clients to pay you an amount of money for a project. You then outsource it to workers and pay them less than what you get paid. So if your client pays you $100 to create a basic website for their company, you hire a web designer that can do it for say $70 and pocket the difference. Nothing complicated, your job simply consists of finding clients and maintaining a team of freelancers who can do the job at competitive rates.

Now where do you find the workers? There are plenty of places that you can look at. There are several internet marketing forums such as Digital Point where you can get people to do various tasks at inexpensive rates. Microworkers is a freelancing site where you can find the same. And for really small projects, such as article writing, try Fiverr. All workers there can charge only $5 per task.

What about the clients? Now, hey! Wait a minute… Won’t they simply go directly to the source and get workers who can do the project for cheap? The thing is, not all people are involved in the whole internet marketing scene. Many do not know where to find low-cost workers to perform the tasks. Some may prefer to deal only with local businesses. The best channels to advertise your services would be online classifieds sites, such as Craigslist, Kijiji, Backpage and Gumtree. If you are doing web design for businesses, you can also try some offline methods, such as advertising in classified ads or send out fliers.

Remember to tweak and adjust this method to your unique needs and tastes. Start out small, create relationships with your workers, create regular clients and build a reputation for yourself. Some people have built seven figure businesses by doing pretty much what was described in this post. With some dedication and entrepreneurship on your part, you can turn this into a full time business if you wanted to.

Adsense Alternatives – Bidvertiser

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Adsense Alternatives – Bidvertiser

Sometimes, publishing pay per click ads on your website or blog is a very good way to monetize your site. It has the obvious advantage that you simply get paid to send traffic to advertisers. Unlike with CPA or affiliate offers, there is no need to worry about whether the click converts or how many sales you will get. Of course, it is a known fact that Adsense is the leader for publishers who want to put PPC ads on their site or blog. But there are other companies out there, some big ones and some smaller ones too, which function pretty much the same way.

Teaming up with a network other than Adsense to publish PPC ads can be very rewarding, but you need to choose that network wisely. After all, you are doing this to earn money from your site, so it is important that you sign up for a quality network that will be honest and fair, in addition to allowing you to earn a decent amount of money.

One alternative to Adsense is called Bidvertiser. They are a smaller advertising network that is growing in popularity and their ads are seen millions of times each day.

One of their main advantages is that they offer more flexibility in terms of payment options. You can choose to either get paid by check or by Paypal. If you select Paypal as a payment option, the minimum payout amount is only $10. If you would rather be paid by check, then it is $50. The Paypal payment option makes it more convenient for webmasters who are outside of North America to get their payment. Payments are done on a NET 30 basis, which means that you get paid 30 days after the end of the month during which you earned money. This means that earnings made during the month of April will be processed at the beginning of the month of June.

You can select from many templates of ads that you want to run on your site. These templates include skyscrapers, banners, inline ads, etc. All of this makes it easy for you to better integrate the ads in the content of your site. The amount that you will get for each click will vary. However, you have the option of selecting a minimum bid amount with regards to the ads that you want to display on your site. So, let’s say you don’t want to show advertisers who have bid less than $0.30 per click. You may select this in your account settings after you sign up.

The only drawback is that since the network is not as popular as Adsense, the amount that you earn per click will typically be less than what you would get with Adsense. However, Bidvertiser is growing in popularity and can be a very profitable option if your site has a decent amount of traffic.

Some Ideas On What to Do Online – Selling on eBay

Some Ideas On What to Do Online – Selling on eBay

As we all know, there are many different ways to make some cash online. Whether you simply want to earn a few extra dollars, or are planning to start a full-time online business, there are various methods that you can use to generate income. One thing that you should do is to familiarize yourself with as many of them as possible. This will not only help you determine what you want to do to make money, but you will also have knowledge of some extra methods should your primary ways of making money slow down for some reason.

Selling on eBay

eBay is definitely the world’s best known online auction site. It also receives millions of visitors from around the world, every single day. This makes it one of the largest online marketplaces and a great place to sell all kinds of merchandise.

Now the question is what to sell on eBay. You can either sell items that you produce yourself or resell merchandise bought somewhere else at a profit. I’ve personally known a few people who have a small clothing label and made a good amount of money selling their items on eBay. One of my friends specializes in selling t-shirts with funny slogans or pictures of internet memes. He sends the design over to a local business who print it on the t-shirt for a few dollars, and then resellers the t-shirts on eBay for a profit.

You don’t really need to make your own items in order to profit from eBay either. You can simply apply the concept of “buy low, sell high” to many different types of merchandise. The key here is to find a supplier that will sell items at a relatively low cost that will enable you to make a decent profit on the markup. Remember to take into consideration eBay fees as well as PayPal fees when determining how much profit you will actually be making.

The best sources for cheaply priced merchandise are most definitely trading websites such as AliBaba, TradeTang and DH Gate. You will find many different items, such as clothing items, electronics, jewelry, etc. for sale there. Usually, those items are sold directly from the manufacturer or from wholesalers. As for distributing the items to your end customers, you basically have two choices. Either you can place an order for a quantity of items in bulk, or you can have the supplier ship directly to your customer, which is a process called “drop shipping”.

A word of caution when ordering merchandise through these sites. While the majority of trading partners there are honest, there are still quite a few scammers operating there. Therefore, it is always best to place a small order, typically one or two units and have it shipped to you in order to determine whether the provider actually sends you an item and whether the items sold accurately match the description given on the site.

Some Ideas On What to Do Online – Creating Your Own Product

As you are learning to earn money online, it is important to find out about various money making methods that you can use. Even though you may not be planning to use a certain method right away, it is always a good thing to know about various ways to make cash. This is in case one of your previous money earners dries up, you would always have a backup strategy in place.

Creating your own product

If you’ve been into the online money making scene for a while, you have probably seen the names of various gurus come up, such as Frank Kern, Mike Filsaime, Jeff Walker and company. These people are without a doubt earning millions of dollars by selling something that a lot of people online are searching for: information.

Now, can you become as successful as them? Maybe, maybe not. But one thing that is true, it’s the fact that if you make significant efforts, you are likely to earn a decent amount of money by creating and selling your own informational products online. But first, don’t get sucked into all of the hype out there. Success in this industry doesn’t come overnight. Even the top names in internet marketing did not become rich the first time they have put something up for sale online.

The first thing that you would need is an idea for a product. Ask yourself, what are your areas of knowledge? And you don’t need to be a professional on the subject matter either. You simply need to have gained a level of knowledge on the subject matter that is above that of the average person. If you take a look at many of the info products out there today, they consist of little more than information that is either simply common sense or freely available online if one would spend a few hours searching for it. The info is simply neatly arranged and rewritten in a way to make it simpler to understand for the target audience.

You would also need a web site, payment system and sales page for your product. Notice those long sales letters, filled with underlined words, calls to action, bullet lists of how the product will help the customer, etc? You can easily find freely available or inexpensive templates for your sales page that will make it resemble that of the top gurus. Of course, the words on the sales page matter: they will basically say to the reader “You have a problem, and I have a solution for you.” The most professional sales pages are designed by professional copywriters who charge thousands of dollars for their services. At the beginning, you probably won’t be ready to put up such an investment on your first product. You should know, however, that there are freelancers out there who can write a decent sales copy and even customize your product’s complete web site for around $50 to $100.

Once everything is set up, now is the time to promote your product. There are various ways to do so, but one of the most effective one is to advertise by buying ad space on websites, blogs or forums that are related to your niche. For example, if you are selling a dog grooming guide, you could buy ad space on a dog related forum.

Ready To Start Earning Online?

Many people seek advice on how they can earn money online. A great deal of those are interested in earning a full time income with their own internet based business. The problem is, the majority of them will never make it. Here are some common misconceptions about making money online that people have. Those who fall for these are often the ones that end up quitting.

Pizza delivery boy discovers secret to earning online and rakes in $1000 on his first day!!!!

Well, strange things have happened. Some people DID become instantly successful online. But the odds of that happening to you are very low. In fact, you probably have better odds at winning the lottery. All those stories that you see on sales pages are either outright fantasy, or based on a small amount of truth but were subsequently embellished. While it is definitely possible to earn four figures a day, it will take you a lot of trial and error, and you will need to acquire a lot of experience before you are able to do so.

Working from home is easy! Earn money by sitting on your couch!!

No it’s not. And no, you don’t just sign up for an affiliate program and wait for the truck full of money to arrive at your door. You will need to do actual work if you want actual results. While there are many ways to optimize your operations and make them more efficient, therefore reducing the amount of time you are actually “working”, there is no such thing as a true “set and forget” system that will bring you money without any actions. You will still have to monitor your progress and make adjustments to your campaigns.

You can get started with absolutely no money and never invest a single cent!

Again, possible, but hard to achieve in reality. Just like any business, an online business will require you to invest some money. You will need to pay for things like web hosting, domain names, advertising, etc. While there are many ways that you can get started for free or with a very small amount of money, if you want your business to grow and make you a decent income, you will probably need to put in some money of your own.

Join my program/buy my e-book/download this tool and you can be rich in 5 minutes!

Sorry, no. While there are definitely some excellent informational products, membership sites and programs that can give you very valuable information and help you achieve success online, you will actually have to use them properly if you want to make money. This means actually applying the concepts that they teach, which will take you some time to see results.

Your success is 100% guaranteed for life! You can just keep doing the same things everyday!

Unfortunately, there are no guarantees in this business. The internet is constantly evolving. When it comes to money making opportunities, some doors will close while new ones will open. You always need to be on top of your game and be aware of new developments in the industry.
