Add Value To Your Digital Products

Add Value To Your Digital Products

If you’ve ever sold an ebook, or other digital product, you know that maximizing your profits can be a tricky task. If you take the time to take a look at your products and figure out how they can work better for you, you can increase your revenue significantly.

If you have one digital product, you might be able to convert it into another format to generate more profits. Let’s say you have an ebook that’s getting some sales. Have you considered taking your content, and making an audio, or video product out of it? A video that helps to illustrate the points you make in your ebook could be a great addition to your product catalog. As for an audio product, an audio version of your ebook would do well. Many people enjoy listening to audio books at the gym, in the car, or even when they’re just out for a walk. By converting your existing product into other formats, you can sell it to a wide variety of customers. In fact, you may even wind up selling it to the same customer multiple times.

If your product is a multi-step instructional guide of any sort, you may want to consider breaking it down into weekly lessons, and switching business models. By starting a membership site, you can generate more revenue over time. Let’s say you are currently selling an ebook for $30 a piece. If you convert that ebook into a six month online course, and charge $10 a month, you can double your profits. The downside here is that you run the risk of having a customer unsubscribe before the course is over. This method isn’t going to work for every product, but if you have a good step by step guide, you might just be able to make a membership site work.

Whether you’re running a membership site, or selling digital products, you can always up your sales by offering bonuses to your customers. If your customers are getting something for free when they purchase your product or sign up for your membership site, you will generate more sales. People love free stuff, and by offering them a bonus item, you’re increasing the overall appeal of your product.

Digital products can be highly profitable if you play your cards right. Sell your content in multiple formats, and consider a membership site, either in place of, or alongside your existing products. Throw in a few bonus items, and you’ll see a significant boost in sales in no time.

Making Money With Resale Rights

Making Money With Resale Rights

Sometimes, when you’re buying an ebook, or other information product, you will have the chance to buy resale rights for that product. Sometimes those rights are free or cheap, and sometimes they’re a bit more expensive. Before you automatically dismiss the additional expense, take a second and think about the product, and it’s value. You might find yourself interested in selling it.

When you get resale rights for an ebook, most of the time you’ll be given a direct download link to pass on to your customers. Each time someone orders the product through you, you get paid for it. Typically, you can sell the ebook any number of ways, including ebay, and setting up your own website for the product. All you have to do is send traffic to the product, and you can collect a solid amount of money.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind before setting out to make money with resale rights. You’re selling someone else’s product, and as such, they get credit for creating it. By selling their ebook, you’re not doing anything for your reputation, just your wallet. The other side of the coin here is that you don’t have to produce an ebook of your own to sell. All you really have to do is market an existing product. You may not pull in as much money as you would selling an original product, but you also don’t have to put in the same amount of effort you would if you were creating a new ebook of your own.

it’s also important to determine whether or not there’s a market for the ebook you’re interested in reselling. Consider the niche the product covers, and whether or not a broad audience would be interested in the product. You should also search the internet, and see how many other people are reselling the ebook you’re looking at, and take a look at what marketing strategies they’re using. If the product you’re looking at is being sold by a lot of other people, and the market for it just isn’t that big, it’s probably better to skip it.

Buying resale rights for an ebook can be a great way to make some money, but only if you can manage to sell the product. Do your homework, and pick a product with a strong resale value, and you’ll be able to bring in some extra money easily.

Use Free Reports To Generate Profits

Use Free Reports To Generate Profits

It’s no secret that you can make money selling ebooks, but you can also make some money giving them away for free. Reports, and guides can actually be used to generate sales even if you’re not selling them, as long as you follow a few simple guidelines.

First and foremost, you need to create a compelling report. If no one wants to download your product, you can’t make it work for you. Be sure to pick a topic that matters to your audience. Think about questions your readers might have, or problems they might be looking to solve, and go from there.

Now that you have a compelling report in hand, it’s time to monetize it, and one sure fire way is through affiliate links. If your guide teaches the reader how to do something, consider including affiliate links to any products they might need to accomplish the task at hand. If you’re teaching the reader how to repair their DVD player, include affiliate links to all of the tools they’ll need to open the DVD player up, and any other parts they might need once they’re in there. The odds on making a sale are pretty high here, because you already know the reader is interested in the products you’re pushing – after all, they wouldn’t have downloaded your report if they didn’t intend to get into their DVD player, and they won’t be doing that without the right tools.

You can also use the report to push your own products or services. For example, if you repair DVD players professionally, at the end of your DVD player repair guide, leave your contact information and rates for your repair service. If the reader is intimidated by the repair process, they might have you fix their DVD player instead of attempting the repair themselves.

Remember, it’s not just the initial downloader you’re reaching, but everyone they share it with.If your report really helped them, they will be more likely to share it with a friend, and the more people that see it, the more money you’ll make.

By giving your readers a little information for free, you can turn a comfortable profit on affiliate links, and other related products and services. Be sure to provide solid content in the report, and your readers will be more likely to click your affiliate links or order your products and services.

When to Hire a Contractor

When to Hire a Contractor

One of the most overlooked aspects of working online is hiring a contractor.

Let’s face it, not everyone can do everything online, and if they think they can they are joking themselves or they are taking way to much time to get work done because they are having to learn/struggle with every single aspect of web design, article writing, SEO, or some other area that is outside their expertise and they are spending way to much time on tasks that they are having to learn as they go or just take them a long time because of inexperience.

My niche is article writing. I was never found of writing in school, but I learned very quickly online that I was meant for it. I can write decently fast, not 90 words per minute, but I am able to get my ideas down on the “paper” as fast as I can think of them. I learned that when writing about subjects I enjoy I can write almost all day about them, hence why I write only on my niches I like to work on.

It could be different for you, maybe you love SEO, and playing the search engine game. That’s fine, it’s great even. Or maybe you are an awesome designer and just love creating useful art for websites, etc.

Whatever you do almost can be utilized online, however trying to learn everything else can be a mistake.

If you are a great web designer, why not hire a great copywriter to help you sell your services to potential clients instead of struggling to create website content to showcase your work?

If you are an SEO expert throw up a Wordpress blog and hire a designer to create you a temple to showcase your SEO skills.

For me, as an article writer I am a bit SEO (but not all the way) with my keyword density, but I could hire both an SEO expert to get my on page SEO down and a designer to create my website for which I write.

Instead of trying to do things halfway, it is a lot easier and will save you a lot of time by simply hiring an outsourcer to do the work for you. Don’t be afraid to spend a little bit of money, because if the contractor is worth their weight, they will provide you with returns long after the work is completed.

Choosing a Niche for Affiliate Products

Choosing a Niche for Affiliate Products

Choosing a niche to go into can be a lot of work and extremely stressful for new internet marketers and future affiliate marketers. It doesn’t have to be that difficult though, and I will give you 4 tips below to help you choose your affiliate niche and product.

Something That Interests You
One of the most overlooked things about being an affiliate is picking a niche that you like. It helps prevent burnout and fatigue with work and will allow you to continue to push harder when times get rough if you are passionate about a subject. For example, I don’t care about forex, heck, I don’t even know what it means. Why would I spend time and effort on a product promoting a forex tool that I know nothing about, or care nothing about? Sure I can learn, but my heart won’t be there and it won’t show in my results. If you are passionate about a niche, promote a product within it — your excitement and knowledge will show through to the potential customers.

Something With Profit Potential
Of course, even if you like something doesn’t mean there is a profit potential. I suggest trying a few niches on topics you think you might like then seeing what works after a few months. If you have 10 sales on one item and no sales on another, then you should probably pick the one that has made you some money, right? This one is pretty simple, but see how successful and tight the competition is and go from there.

Reputable Offer (Not a Scam)
Make sure you check the offer out before you start promoting it. Read through every fine line of text on the sales/copywriting page. Make sure the offer sounds legitimate to you, not scammy. If it sounds like a scam to you, it will sound like a scam to your potential customer. Make sure the sales page is good, all the information is there and that the offer is valid (purchase it before hand, maybe?) and make sure you are promoting something worthwhile.

Good Commission
Finally, make sure your work is going to yield you a good commission. The percentage doesn’t really matter, but the amount does. If you can sell 10 copies of something at $50 or 10 copies of something else at $30, which will you choose?

How-To Generate Leads through Blogging

How-To Generate Leads through Blogging

The toughest challenge for all online business owners or even offline business owners with an online component is driving traffic to their website. And of course, just having any old person visit your website is no good if they aren’t interested. Owners want and need targeted traffic, which basically means that they need a bunch of people visiting their website all of which are interested in what they have to sell. The best way to gain this targeted traffic is through a weblog, which have become more commonly known as just blogs. Blogs help your business gain credibility on the subject of your product along with that targeted traffic that was mentioned before. These two products of your blog will go hand in hand in generating you and your business more sales.

Now, you might be wondering why a blog is suggested when most of them on the internet just sit there not being read. We have to take into account that about half of these are personal blogs, which no one cares about, and another big majority are spam blogs, which either copy posts from other blogs, or are just full of ads trying to sell products that don’t even work. Of course, blogs don’t work overnight. It does take a while to gain readership and a good reputation. Plus, if you try heavily advertising straight away, people will probably think you are another one of the spam blogs, and just leave.

There are many important aspects of your blog that you must pay attention to when building it. One is structure, where you must build up to your product with actually useful information. No one will buy what you’re selling without you first convincing them to do so, and then when you do plug your product, you should still do it subtly. You must also promote your blog, and thereby your website. There are many free and paid ways to do this, but after research, the free way is recommended, because it allows for about the same exposure if done correctly as the paid options will provide.

Remember, everything is what you make of it. If you don’t put much work into your blog, and just let it sit there without updating it, it will fail. If you pile ads on it, it will fail. You need to take time, and put content on there that will be useful to your customers, and interest them in the product that your business offers. Otherwise, you will be wasting what little time you are even putting into it.

Tips for Making Blogs Less Robotic

Tips for Making Blogs Less Robotic

Blogs are one of the resources that people go to when they need to understand something more in depth. It may be simply to learn more about a person, a company or corporation and even products that people are reviewing through the blogs. The main thing that makes blogs realistic and understandable and not simply a robotic monotone advertisement is the fact that they are written with a passion or reason other than intent to tell you to visit this or buy something because the author said so. A successful blog will not need to tell people to buy things, a simple mention of products or services will get them to follow links or even search for it themselves.

For writing blog posts with a passion, there are many tips which can help improve what the reader wants to see in your writing. Talking to people like they are the main focus is better than saying that they should do something. It is always intimidating for a person to be told what to do. If the focus was set on the author, they should say that they enjoy doing something and recommend it to others rather than blatantly telling others to do something for an obvious benefit to the author.

The only time that a robotic response works is when the blog is well established and the readers will keep coming back no matter what is posted. Large corporations or heavily popular influencing internet celebrities make use of this power because they are already well known and do not need to be personal to their readers. Writing about the smaller topics often is better than one simple large topic. It is important to always leave the readers wanting more so they come back anticipating new information from the author of the blog.

Making your blog personal is one of the best things you can do. It makes your readers feel like they can connect to you. If all of your information is straight facts and, well, information, then your readers are going to be missing out on your personal insights. Having an opinion on your blog is also important, it helps give your blog a voice and makes you more relate-able to the audience. Don’t be afraid to give some personal stories that help reinforce your ideas and thoughts, as well as to give your blog a bit more of a personal touch.

Improving Search Traffic To Your Site

Improving Search Traffic To Your Site

Search engine traffic is one of the most important ways to be successful online. When people can find your blog or website just by typing into Google your keyword, that is a very powerful thing.

Google and other search engines love new content. It has been said that Google prefers websites that have new content on a consistent basis. So one of the ways to get to Google’s heart is to consistently update your blog or website.

New content is a powerful thing for many reasons, not just search engine ranking.

New content brings visitors back again and again.
New content means your RSS feed goes out, again and again.
New content keeps you engaged with your site.
New content forces you to continue promotion of your site, you’d hate for that great content to go to waste, wouldn’t you?

New content is one of the driving forces behind the next big part of organic, search engine traffic. In order to get that content to show up and rank in Google however, there are some things you have to do first.

Make your site SEO friendly, use good title tags and make good use of heading tags as well. Also make sure you submit your Sitemap to Google’s Webmaster Tools, this will help Google crawl your site more efficiently.

Getting backlinks to your site will also help your site start to rank higher and get crawled more often. What happens when the Google Bot gets to another site with your link on it, is it then follows it back to your. A lot of people call this “Google Juice.” Call it whatever you want, it is one of the most important parts of the organic traffic equation.

If you are just getting started on your website, be patient and make sure you submit your site to all of the search engines so that they can begin crawling your site as soon as possible.

Build a Successful Blog

Building a successful blog isn’t easy. It takes a ton of work, long hours promoting, writing, submitting to directories, and doing other mundane tasks.

But, luckily building a successful blog is possible. There are so many niches that need a top site still, and the field is wide open. Maybe you are an expert pottery maker, photographer, or management consultant. There are numerous people each day looking for content on your topic avidly online and you can be the site that they come to.

Content
Writing good content is really important to having a successful blog. Content should be aimed at readability for your visitors, but also for search engine optimization.

It takes a delicate balance between writing for the search engines and for your users.

The best way I can suggest to do it is to use keywords as part of sentences only when you need it. For example, if I have a website about chocolate pancakes, I do not need to include that in every sentence or even every other sentence. However, I can use the keyword in the opening sentence or as part of a sentence when needed. The other thing you can do is add your keyword to your content using h2 title tags within the content. You can have your opening sentence or “thesis” at the start of your paragraph even with your keyword in it, as a way to draw attention to your main idea for your reader, and to improve your search engine optimization (SEO) rank.

Marketing
Marketing your blog can be a chore unless you want to do it the right way. Marketing can be a lot of fun — visiting your favorite blogs on your specific niche can be a great way to market your blog through commenting on their recent posts. Engaging with top bloggers can get your name out there and get people to follow your blog when you write engaging comments and participate in discussion.

Another marketing method is to join forums that are related to your niche. Promote your blog lightly, through your forum signature only — or else you will just seem like a spammer.

Start slow building your blog and relationships with your readers. Find and engage your audience, promote it through social media, bookmarking and forums and take your time to build it, it will not come over night so be patient.
